Note:
Do not disconnect electrical connectors with the ignition switch in the "ON" position; turn off the ignition first.
Additional components may need to be removed before removing the throttle body.
Some throttle bodies have coolant hose attachments that must be removed, so plug hoses to prevent coolant loss.
After replacing the throttle body, the idle speed may differ. A relearn procedure may be necessary. Consult the appropriate technical service repair manual for the specific relearn instructions.

Installation
Remove the engine cover if necessary.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the air intake hose and any attached water cables.
Disconnect the electrical connections.
Remove the water hose if applicable.
Remove the mounting hardware and old throttle body.
Remove the old gasket.
Clean the mounting surface.
Install the new gasket.
Install the new throttle body.
Torque the bolts to specification.
Reattach the water hose.
Reattach the electrical connections.
Reattach the air intake hose.
Reconnect the battery cable.
Perform electronic throttle installation and idle relearn procedures using a scan tool if required.
Start the engine, bring it to normal operating temperature, and check the idle speed. Road test the vehicle to ensure normal operation without warning or service lights.
