Installation
1. Remove any heat shield attached to the sensor by loosening the mounting bolts.
2. Use a regular socket to remove the sensor while avoiding damage to the sensor body and threads.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector before removing the sensor, if still attached.
4. Ensure that the wiring harness connectors match and configure the new sensor if necessary.
5. Clean the threaded port with a wire brush and carefully install the new sensor by hand, avoiding bending the wiring.
6. Tighten the sensor snugly to prevent leakage.
7. Reinstall any heat shields or bracing that were removed.
8. Mount the connector to its holder, reattach the connector to the wiring harness, and clear any diagnostic trouble codes if necessary.
